*6-16-10 - I left the message below earlier this year and 3-15-10 - I had requested information last summer regarding a Tritt family reunion and received a response but, due to an unfortunate computer crash, I lost the e-mail response that I had received.  If I remember correctly, the Tritt reunion is held the last Saturday in June each year in Suches.
  If someone could confirm this, and provide any additional information on where it is held, I would be very grateful.  I am looking to find more information about my Tritt history and would like to attend the reunion this year if possible.  Thanks much for any assistance you can provide. *3-16-10 - I am new to dual sport riding in the area.  I am looking for a guide I  might hire, with their own dual sport bike, to lead me to mostly off  road riding (fire roads, forrest service roads, trails and even OHV). I am 48 years old and own a KTM 450 EXC (unplugged and has MX style  sprockets) and would like to ride on the weekdays, not the weekends. *9-25-09 - Hello, I'm Patricia Pierce and would like for all of my fellow neighbors to know that I make specialty signs for the area.  Such as SUCHES.CALM; Suches, GA Elevation; Woody Gap School Established. etc. I would also like to thank all of you that helped support Indian Summer Festival last year and look forward to seeing you again this year.

*6-25-09 - I wonder if you are familiar with the work of Lisa Gardner who has written a number of New York Times best-selling suspense thrillers.  In any case, I thought you and other Suches residents might be interested to know that in one of her latest books entitled "Say Goodbye" (recently released in paperback), she mentions Dahlonega and Suches several times as well as Woody Gap, Blood Mountain, Cooper Gap Road, the fish hatchery, and so forth.  On page 280, a character in the book (a sheriff) says that "You haven't seen pretty till you've been to Suches."  Specific mention is made of T.W.O., Lenny's and Dale's.
It was great fun reading this particular book by such a well-known author, especially since some of our local sites are mentioned in it.
